About Me
I am no different than you….......
I am a wife, mom, friend, counselor, medic, confidante, grandma to a granddog, a grandson, and a granddaughter (in that order)……. You get the picture, job description du jour for today’s woman.
I care deeply about my country, and I struggle daily to make sense out of the world we presently live in. I have never been so sure that if we don’t make a change and fast, the country as we now know it, will no longer be around for my grandchildren to enjoy. As a direct descendent of family members who fought and died in the American Revolution, this deeply disturbs and offends me. Today’s generation of young adults do not understand the story of this great nation. You will hear more about my feelings and ideas if you read further.
Not so fun fact: I also have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Which does not mean I am quirky or a neat freak. To the contrary, if I start cleaning I can’t stop, so I have learned the best way to deal with that is not to start. Simple but definitely not neat. But more on that later…..
AND as stated earlier, I have been navigating my way through a major crossroad in my life, NOT one of my choosing. As many before me, I was forced to make a major career change at age 61. The company I had worked for, for over 35 years, had a change in management and the Administrative staff were not so kindly asked to move on.
I will be writing about these subjects and more. I am hoping to connect with others who will weigh in with their own thoughts, insights and opinions on matters that concern us all.
